El Faro was founded in 2014 in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico by Armida and Victor Baray.
Armida and Victor are from Cuauhtemoc Chihuahua. It is called “Tierra Manzanera” because there are a large number of apple tree orchards. She started cooking at a local restaurant here in Truth or Consequences in 1994 and continued working there until she was able to open her own restaurant. Armida loves to cook and see her customers enjoying her food.
